What is Lancome thinking asking a male celebrity like Vic Chou to endorse their Rose Fever-Dewy Shine?  Well, they’re thinking of the huge female fan base who will rush to get the limited edition with Vic Chou’s picture card of course!  It’s a very clever marketing ploy!  Way better than getting a female celebrity actually.

This isn’t the first time a male celebrity has been engaged to endorse female cosmetics.  It began in Japan with Takuya Kimura for Kanebo Testimo II range in 1996 and then I’ve also seen Won Bin’s commercial for Missha.  But while the male celebrities do not wear the lipstick, their star appeal is great.  I’m not surprised this is a hit with the girls.
