If you have seen some of the pictures from Hong Kong’s most sensational Edison Chen sex photo scandal, you’ll know exactly why it is an irony to hear Cecilia Cheung (张柏芝) say “you can wash away all your unspeakable secrets” in her 15 secs television commercial to promote Jie’eryin solution for gynecological applications under Chengdu Enwei Group (洁尔阴洗液, 成都恩威集团).

Titled “难言之隐，一洗了之” in Chinese, the TV-CM was aired not too long after explicit photos of her baring all were splashed all over the Internet and attention were precisely on her bushy pubic region.  One cannot help but wonder why Enwei hired Cecilia Cheung to act as a spokesperson for a female hygiene product at this time.  The company certainly attracted a lot of attention for their product alright, but for all the wrong reasons though.

According to various news reports, the commercial has received many complaints from viewers  and it was even said that some TV stations have been ordered to stop airing the ad altogether.
