So I said Yuko Takeuchi is doing extremely well career wise.  The woman has a whole line of jobs awaiting her.  Her most recent is this black and white Suntory TVCM promoting The Premium Malt’s.  Check it out at Suntory’s website.

And it’s also interesting to note that Japanese female consumers are gaining prominence, considering how the beverage companies are increasingly using female celebrities to endorse beer.  Smart move I say!

Yuko Takeuchi (竹内結子) who recently split from Shido Nakamura is not short on jobs.  In fact, she had a string of jobs waiting for her including this one you see here for JTB流. 

Watch her in the 30 secs TVCM at the JTB流 website and you’ll agree that she’s looking really good despite whatever she has gone through.  Which also makes me want to laugh at reports about how her new image is scary to her male viewers.

“Takeuchi rose to the top playing squeaky clean roles. She had the image of being a cute, girl-next-door type. But the hard line she took in the fight with Nakamura left people with the impression of her being a strong and powerful woman,” the hack says. “Her stance of steadfastly refusing to allow Nakamura access to their son has also left a strong impression among male fans that she’s so powerful, it’s a bit scary.”

I say if the men can’t handle her new found confidence, then it’s their loss. 

Anyway, I don’t see any wallpapers related to this TVCM but you can download a copy of the spring catalog featuring Yuko on the cover.  I’m so loving the spring feeling she’s projecting.
